My family has been prepping since the early 2000s so that we are prepared in the event that the grocery store supplies were limited or, and most importantly, going out was too dangerous. For years we've always purchased a little more than we needed.
We've always had enough to share. Our preps have come in handy when friends, family or neighbors were in need.
As a prepper, I know that multiple life-disrupting events are coming that my household will need to be prepared for. But when the COVID-19 plandemic happened, the stores running out of toilet paper was a surprise. Also, most prepper groups would say that there are only 3 days on a grocers shelves, but the reality is, people will stock up for as much as they can afford, so there's only one day to get to the store.
Well, we had enough tp for a couple months, but my curiosity got the best of me. I had to see for mysrlf what the news had been reporting. Sir enough! Not one roll was to be found. This went on for weeks! As our own supply dwindled, I decided to get a bidet for each of our toilets. Plan b.
